I know I know--if you're genetically pre-destined to get stretch marks you will probably get them being pregnant and there is probably very little you can do about it. If your mom has them you will too--scientifically--genetically speaking yes that is correct-- The logical side of my scientist side says if you take good care of your skin, well hydrated well nourished it can't hurt- it can only help.
A very very skinny friend of mine told me about this product
Beautiful Belly Balm
Ingredients: Contains: Oils of Sesame, Coconut, Lavender, Carnation, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Extracts of Organic Calendula Flower, Comfrey & Sage Leaf, Vitamin E, Lanolin, Beeswax, Manzanita Flower Essence & Garnet Gum Essence.
I only say the "skinny" part because it seemed relevant at this point. I was just starting to show and the panic of "will my body ever be close to the same" was entering my head and when this thin woman who has birthed several babies has a great body recommends something to keep my skin happy--I was going to pay attention. I am glad I did. It is a great product.
All natural greasy balm to smear all over your pregnant body-belly, boobs and butt! You will use it after you have your baby too, your skin will love it! It is one of those things I tell all my newly pregnant friends about. I don't know if it helped me or not, I can never know what would have happened if I did not use it, but I do know that my mom has stretch marks galore from having kids and I have 4 on the left side of my belly button. I have more on my caboose where I did not use it as often...wishing I would have...oh well.
My only complaint/recommendation is that it is greasy. Don't be sleeping on your best sheets (or put down a towel) and don't wear anything nice to bed. Use it often use it liberally. My only second tip is don't buy it directly from Wise Ways Herbals. I haven't had good luck with shipping from there-buy from Amazon or another shop that has it in stock and has reliable shipping.
Just my tips!
